Teresa García Cisneros has been General Manager of Ketchum Pleon Spain. since its foundation in 1989. Teresa is responsible for the senior client relationships, actively participating in the clients’ activities and development. She is also responsible for client strategy and the overall management of the company. Teresa was appointed Ketchum Partner in 1999.
As a qualified journalist, who also has a degree in advertising, Teresa’s experience in journalism is extensive, having worked for 10 years on a major national daily, Diario 16. She has also worked for the Spanish TV, general interest magazines and a regional newspaper. Teresa has a degree in journalism by the Complutense University in Madrid, a degree in advertising, and a diploma on the E.U. by the Diplomatic College of the Complutense University in Madrid.
Teresa belongs to the Board Meeting of DIRCOM (Communication Directors’ Association) and has been appointed DAS VP (Omnicom Group) for Spain. She is also member of the International Public Relations Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Teresa speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
